My services are tailored to your unique breastfeeding needs and are important and helpful aspects of a successful outcome. They are useful both before your baby is born, as well as any time after the birth.
When I meet with you and your little one – your support person is welcome, too – I listen to your story and get to know you and your little one. My skills, knowledge, and expertise will provide you with choices and support on your breastfeeding journey. You will benefit from the latest evidence-based research on breastfeeding and related topics.
Services include: office or in-home visits; follow-up care; follow-on care; groups; and clinics. All are centered on ensuring that your breastfeeding experience is the most satisfying it can be.
I provide New York mothers and babies with consultations in Manhattan, in my office, or in your home. Consultations last 1½ – 2 hours. Follow-up care by phone, email, and text is an important aspect of the experience and is a part of the consult package. Follow-on care, that is additional visits, can be useful, as well.
I have office space because it provides benefits including my complete references and tools. The office is great because, in addition to an initial or follow-on consultation, it allows flexibility for the mom who wants to come for a briefer visit such as a weight check, or the mom who could benefit from staying around longer, but who only needs my focus every now and then.
I run groups and clinics in New York focused on breastfeeding. Both pregnant women and mothers find these beneficial. They serve the dual purpose of providing you with my discerning eye as a Board Certified Lactation Consultant as well as a chance for you to be with other moms and their little ones.
